Meet the Novitski's! 

Chef Robert and Mekaila Novitski are new locals to Door County, coming from the Appleton and Fox Valley area. They previously worked together at a golf course just south of Green Bay, where Chef Robert (Bob) had started his restaurant career back in 2004 as a dishwasher, then working his way up the ladder to Executive Head Chef and Food and Beverage Manager for the golf course. Mekaila got her foot in the door of a restaurant in 2014, where she washed dishes and bussed tables on Fridays and Saturdays. From there, she mixed in a few other customer service forward jobs and then, in 2018, found her way to the golf course. She fell in love with bartending, started to dip her toes into mixology, and not too long down the road, found Bob to not be so bad, either. In November 2023, Bob and Mekaila got married in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, right before moving up to Fish Creek and taking ownership of the Shoreline Restaurant!
